AN UNFORGETTABLE WEDDING SEASON IS FORECASTED!

Despite the fact that last year's wedding season exceeded expectations, quite a few wedding couples decided to postpone the day of their most beautiful dreams and not to whiten their heads with corona requirements and measures. Dates for this year's weddings are filling up very quickly at all providers this year. Could you say that after covid comes cupid?

Are you two also getting married soon and don't know what decoration to choose? We gathered our passion, mission and experience and prepared for you some current wedding trends that will accompany us in 2022. Are you ready for a dose of inspiration?

1. FLOWERS OF THIS YEAR'S WEDDING SEASON

This year there will be more combinations of dry and fresh flowers in wedding bouquets. Fresh flowers will include peonies, roses, dahlias and carnations, which already adorned wedding bouquets and arrangements last year. This year, slightly different flowers - orchids, telohs and anemones - will provide the finishing touches, a touch of freshness and playfulness.

What about greens? The trend of irregular, branching shapes continues and so does mixed greens. No longer just one variety of eucalyptus, wedding bouquets are much more complex and full, that means they do not lack a combination of greenery from eucalyptus to olive...

2. COLORS OF THIS YEAR'S WEDDING SEASON

The color palette of wedding decorations will always depend on personal choice. But many wedding couples take inspiration from the current colors. Earth tones are still following us from 2021, but earth tones have also been joined by terra cotta, brown orange and honey yellow.

The trend is also leaning towards pastel, soft and calm colors. Which style is more suitable for you? What color palette did you envision? We are here for you and adapt to your every wish, because we know that the choice of flowers is an integral part of your special day.

Maybe some ideas on what color palette you can go for:

Creative color palette - the last year has been really tiring and we are probably all fed up with this negative information that is besieging us from all sides. Why not choose a playful and creative color palette for your wedding day. Allow yourself to be bold and create your own colorful fairy tale. You know - the world is more beautiful in colors!

Romantic and calm pastel colors - Are you more gentle and calm? Do you like pastel colors? Don't worry, this year pastel shades are more popular than ever. Our personal favorite flowers for creating bouquets of pastel colors are roses and peonies in combinations with dried flowers.

Elegant Monochrome Poetry - Wish your color palette was monochrome? This is also a great choice. We can get many color shades from just one color and create beautiful contrasts in flower arrangements. We love the simplicity of monochrome and we can be very creative in this too and create a fairy tale wedding with different shades and textures of flowers.

3. COMBINATIONS OF TEXTURES AND COLORS

Do you want to be a little different? Indulge in textures. At the moment, dried flowers are a big attraction, and wedding bouquets that are a combination of mixed and dried flowers are simply divine!

4. IRREGULAR SHAPES AND PLAY OF FLOWERS

Let's step outside the comfort and classic zone and indulge in the playfulness of nature. Arrangements "without rules" are increasingly popular! Why should everything always be in the same line, everything "dotted"? Let the flowers breathe, dance and play their part.

5. WEDDING BOUQUETS OF THIS YEAR'S WEDDING SEASON

This year will be a game of shapes, styles and colors. I can not wait! It is known that this year will be the year of two different styles:

Small but full bouquets - Are you wondering what size wedding bouquet you should have? You might be surprised, but bigger is not necessarily better. This year, a little smaller bouquets will be relevant, but there will be no shortage of combinations of different types of flowers. This year, however, the style of branched bouquets will be slightly different. Last year bohemian bouquets were current, this year they will be replaced by sophisticated and light bouquets.

Elegant, falling or cascading bouquet - the cascading bouquet is back again. This style of bouquet was a big attraction in the 80s, when even Queen Diana chose it for her wedding to Prince Charles. Orchids, clematis and jasmin are back with this cascading style. This year, the creations will be wonderful.

6. FLOWERS IN THE HAIR YES OR NO?

This year the answer will be yes, yes and yes! There will be no shortage of flowers in your hair this year. More and more brides are choosing to have a hairpiece with flowers or a crown instead of a hairpiece with stones. Why? Is it even worth wasting words? Flowers in the hair make the bride even more fairy-tale and dreamlike in the photos.

7. FLOWERS ON THE WALLS AND FLOORS

You've probably seen hanging flower clouds hanging from ceilings and tables. This year, the floral decorations will be extended to the floor as well. In addition to the flowers that will hang from the ceilings, floral decorations on the floor will also be relevant.

8. PASSAGES SURROUNDED WITH FLOWERS

Are you also in love with nature? Bring nature into your wedding day as well. And don't worry, even if you get married in a hall, you can be surrounded by flowers. Wrap yourself and your guests in the colors and aromas of the natural world. In addition to the wonderful atmosphere, you also get amazing photos.

9. FLOWER PORTALS

Portals will also be the center of many wedding photos this year. But the arch does not have to be round, it can be a hexagon, it can be the illusion of arches that are curved and almost touch, it can be two flower arrangements hanging from the ceiling - here we florists can be really creative and get closer to your wishes.

10. STUNNING TABLE DECORATIONS

More than ever before, table decorations are rising to the center of wedding gatherings. Whether the wedding is intimate or many guests are invited, the emphasis is on original and creatively designed table decorations. Table decorations can include fruit, wood, books, candles... Emphasis is also placed on tablecloths, table cards, menus... However, it is important to always think about the fact that the guests will be able to talk with the table decorations. So let them be low or very high.

11. GIFTS FOR THE WEDDING PARTY IN THE FORM OF FLOWERS

This is one of my favorite trends that has been with us since 2020. We are increasingly encouraging the use of various flower decorations in your wedding decor, which you can give to all your guests at the end of your day. Especially for those intimate weddings, such gifts leave a unique mark.

So don't be afraid to be different - different is relevant! Caught between two different styles? Do you like bohemian style and modern elegant style? Don't worry, it's your day, your wedding and therefore your story. Elegant and glamorous arrangements can be completed with natural leaves or dried flowers. There are no rules in floristry, only creativity! It's good to be different and unleash your creativity.

We encourage the creativity of wedding couples. Have your own wedding flower ideas? Excellent! Creative thinking of wedding couples is always welcome. Many couples trust their instincts and don't limit themselves to photos on Pinterest. Don't know how to implement your ideas? Don't worry, we will be happy to help you and advise you so that your day will really be yours!

Now to the main question that torments wedding couples every year. How much should we pay for wedding flowers? A general rule of thumb is for couples to spend about 10% of their wedding budget on flowers. Trust us with the amount you have set aside for flowers and together we will approach the floral creations and ensure that the flower arrangements will be innovative and imaginative in every case.
